About me

 

My name is Maria Sol Gonzalez Ferioli. People call me SOL.

I’m originally from Argentina where I was born and grew up. 

When I turned 25, I decided to move to the UK to improve my English and to experience working and traveling.

I started my journey with yoga when I was pregnant with my first child in 2018. When I was practising yoga and pilates, I decided that I wanted to teach.

After my mum passed away, I started feeling lost and depressed. In 2020 my sister suggested that I do my 200 teaching hours to reconnect and recharge. 

Since I became a teacher my life changed, and I also became pregnant with my second child. The meditation helped me with my anxiety and self-control. Additionally, the practice made me feel much better about my body.

I’m very passionate about yoga, and I love the practice. Yoga makes me feel relaxed and reduce my stress, anxiety and depression, while also improving my energy levels.

Yoga changed my life and I hope it can change yours.

My teaching style

I provide classes for all ages and love to see the benefits yoga can bring to the well-being of children and adults alike. 

 

My classes focus on the slow and calm breathing style of Hatha and the faster-paced connected movements of Vinyasa. I adapt my sessions around the individual’s experience, so whatever your level of yoga, there’s something for you.
